The picture on the left is William Erasmus Darwin, more commonly known as "Doddy." His father was none other than Charles Darwin who not only studied the evolution of animals but also his very own children. He documented his sons self-expression. For example crying, smiling, and facials expressions Darwin noticed was his sons way of communicating.
